Webinar details
This webinar is part of the NHS Confederation’s Connected Leadership series (sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim). This session will explore what’s needed to lead effective digital transformation across an ICB, grounded in the principle that digital is a means to delivering better outcomes, not an end in itself.
Through a short leadership reflection with Sam Burrows and John Jeans we’ll examine the factors that enable successful technology-enabled change and how digital can support key system priorities such as prevention, strategic planning and improved population health.
Sam is the interim chief executive for Frimley Integrated Care Board. Prior to this he was chief transformation, delivery and digital officer. He held the position of deputy chief executive at Berkshire West CCG and oversaw the development of new models of care for the Berkshire West system as well as the design and implementation of the Wave One Berkshire West Integrated Care System.
Dr John Jeans is a consultant anaesthetist and a director of healthcare transformation agency 33n. He leads the NHS CLEAR (Clinically-Led workforce and Activity Redesign) programme nationally. Following his father’s experience of care in 2013, he turned his attention to healthcare modelling and system redesign, aiming to translate data into better patient care. Working with like-minded colleagues, Dr Jeans helped establish the National CLEAR programme as a work-based learning initiative delivered by 33n and hosted by East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust.
Join us to reflect on how digital can genuinely enable system priorities, and to consider the forms of leadership required to make that shift sustainable and effective.
We hope you will leave the session considering what opportunities you might have to affect a similar shift in your system.
The webinar is free to ICBs and is made possible by sponsorship from Boehringer Ingelheim Limited
