Overview
‘Collaboration is essential for digital transformation to be successful’. Nursing Times
Across the health and care sector we are seeing increased examples of trusts working together on digital transformation, but the path to collaboration looks very different. Some NHS trusts are building formal group structures with shared governance and leadership. Others are aligning digitally across organisational boundaries without any formal group in place at all.
Join our next Digital Boards programme peer learning event, exploring what leading digital really looks like across both models; the opportunities, the challenges and the lessons learned so far. We will be joined by North West London Acute Provider Group who will share their experience co-designing and implementing a shared Digital and Data plan across four trusts. We will also be joined by trusts who have been aligning digitally without a formal group structure in place, speaker announcement tbc.
Why should you attend?
- Understand how collaboration changes digital accountability, and what that means for board governance and assurance
- Explore the conditions for successful collaborative working across both formal and informal models, and the benefits being realised from this
- Learn how trusts, who may not be in an affiliated group model, can build meaningful digital collaboration at local level and advocate for this at board
- Learn what you can do in your role as a board member to support your digital teams and organisations, and push a collaborative agenda.
