Young people's health and NEET status

NHS England’s Health and Growth Accelerator programme has built several successful research partnerships, including with the UCL team at the Centre for Longitudinal Studies. This work with UCL has produced many novel findings, the latest of which is analysis looking at the relationship between health and NEET status in young people.

 

This analysis looks at two key questions:

 

- Who is NEET and trends in the rates and composition of who is NEET over the last 15 years

- What are the longitudinal predictors of being NEET, with a focus on sociodemographic and health predictors
