What provider collaboratives told us

The provider collaborative leaders interviewed by the NHS Alliance identified the following set of enablers as underpinning successful provider collaborations:

• clinical leadership
• strong executive alignment
• dedicated infrastructure and capability
• clarity of purpose. 

These are discussed in this guidance and illustrated through examples of successful collaboration.
