Accelerator Learning: Multi-morbidity and Employment Advisors in Talking Therapies

Join the team behind the Health and Growth Accelerators as we explore some of the latest research from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

This event will cover two exciting areas of work:

Firstly, the impact of having multiple cardiometabolic conditions (combinations of chronic kidney disease (CKD), cardiovascular disease (CVD) and diabetes) on earnings and employment, and whether the ordering of the onset of these conditions affected labour market outcomes differently. 

Secondly, the impact of Employment Advisors in NHS Talking Therapies on labour market outcomes. We will be joined by Cameron Razieh, researcher at the University of Leicester and ONS, and Hannah Bunk a principal statistician in the ONS Research Group.
