NHS-industry partnerships in practice: delivering better outcomes for patients and the NHS

This webinar will explore how the NHS and the pharmaceutical industry can practically apply the NHS Alliance and the ABPI’s co-produced guidance to establish cross-sector partnerships in a clear and effective manner. 

It will feature presentations by NHS and industry representatives on how successful partnerships can be developed, contracted, delivered and monitored. Delegates will have the opportunity to ask questions on how to effectively implement partnerships in their own localities. 

To ensure that our work reflects the changing NHS operating context, the NHS Alliance and ABPI came together in 2026 to renew our 2024 guidance on effective NHS-industry partnerships. 

The refreshed guidance will be published in October 2026. Key to the updated resource is the inclusion of a new frequently asked questions (FAQs) section reflecting key questions from system leaders and industry including on the benefits of partnership working, timelines for partnership working, partnering with multiple companies, partnerships with local authorities, partnering with primary care and data governance processes.
