    • Peer learning: Reflections on the Advanced Foundation Trust journey to date

      This interactive peer learning session brings together leaders from organisations that have undertaken the Advanced Foundation Trust (AFT) journey to share practical experiences, key lessons learned and reflections from their progress. 

      Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas and gain insights to help inform their own planning and preparations.

    • The evolving national operating model: what it means for providers

      As the relationship between provider organisations, NHS England and the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) continues to evolve, this session will explore how DHSC and NHS England are coming together under the new leadership of the new Secretary of State.

      Paul will share his perspective on the changes reshaping the NHS, the emerging national operating model, and the opportunities and challenges ahead for providers.

David is our head of policy and strategy. He has shared leadership of NHS Providers’ policy team, and oversees our policy work on finances, system working, integration and governance. He joined NHS Providers in 2018, initially as our policy advisor for finances. Prior to that he worked as a journalist, specialising in health policy.
