NICON's annual conference and exhibition is the premier event for health and social care (HSC) leaders and partner organisations in Northern Ireland.
NICON26: Reset for All | Action by All explored the progress made to date in implementing the ambitious Health and Social Care Reset Plan against a backdrop of the upcoming 2027 NI Assembly election.
More than 750 delegates attended, representing every aspect of health and social care in Northern Ireland. Across the two days, delegates heard from international experts and local leaders, while considering the most pressing issues impacting the NI HSC system.
There were more than 50 interactive sessions and opportunities to visit an extensive exhibition space. Sessions focused on leadership and culture, care closer to home, waiting lists, AI and digital innovation, workforce solutions, people as partners, prevention, and health and the economy, among many other topics. Several sessions were hosted by the NI Primary Care Network.
Throughout conference, delegates discussed how we can delver Reset and secure the best possible health outcomes for our population.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Attending NICON26 can contribute to your Continuing Professional Development (CPD)! For every hour you spent at conference, you earn one point towards your CPD - so even if you didn't attend the whole conference, you can still calculate how many points you earned.
To apply for the CPD certificate, you need simply need to complete a short form. The deadline for doing so is Friday 23 October 2026. We will pass all certificate requests to the team at CPD, who should process them within 28 days.
If you have not received your certificate by Monday 30 November 2026, please contact robyn.scott@niconfedhss.org, who will look into this on your behalf.
